Returnable containers have been used for the transportation of drugs for a long time. They are fitted with lids and, when full, weigh up to approx. 20 kg.
The straps are meant to keep the container closed and protect it from unauthorised access. The container lid has one or two notches where the strap runs so it cannot be slipped off easily. The machine has to place the strap precisely in the notches.
Both manufacturers and whole-sale dealers use plastic containers for transportation and storage. The manufacturer also makes pallet loads for warehouse storage.
